Allopathic Physician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Physicians examine patients; obtain medical histories;
order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests; and prescribe and administer
treatment for people suffering from injury or disease. They counsel patients about illness,
injuries, health conditions and preventive healthcare (diet/fitness, smoking
cessation, etc.). They can also conduct medical research, teach and run medical
centers.
Salary:
Average of $93,000
Education:
Most MD programs require 4 years of study, including
emphasis on basic science, clinical work, and social science.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t mind being one of these they make a good amount
of money and they look like they are very help full. In general I wouldn’t mind
it but it’s not a preferred job because I will have to examine all the stuff
and it looks like a lot of work.
